If you or a family member have leg or foot pain when walking or standing, are suffering from a disease process which can affect your feet, or have noticed that your shoes wear out in an abnormal pattern, then we can help! We are trained in the assessment, design, manufacture, fit and modification of orthotics and footwear for the purposes of alleviating painful or debilitating conditions and providing assistance for abnormalities or limited actions of the lower limb. Check out our Symptoms page for a list of common conditions and symptoms indicating you may need orthotics.
Everyone is unique, so every case requires special attention. As members of the Pedorthic Association of Canada, Simon & Richard Daley are among a group of medical professionals educated in the design, fit, manufacture and modification of footwear and foot orthoses (orthotics). They are qualified to assess and treat many conditions of the foot and lower limbs such as hyperpronation, in- and out-toeing, and leg length discrepancies. In many cases, a custom-made orthotic may be required to deal with these and other biomechanical problems. To find out more about what we do, visit our Orthotics Process page.
Not every case requires custom orthotics; sometimes it’s as simple as a change in the shoes on your feet! In some cases, internal or external modifications are needed to assist in the treatment of these sources of pain and can come in the form of sole lifts, rocker soles and changes to a shoe’s profile.
